The National Economic Empowerment and Development Strategy (NEEDS) is an initiative aimed at addressing economic challenges and fostering sustainable development in West Africa.

Over the years, seven West African countries have collaborated to implement this strategy, focusing on empowerment, economic growth, and improved living standards.
